Teenagers attack man with wooden plank.
Footage has surfaced of a vicious family brawl which ended with a man being struck across the face with a plank of wood.
In the video, two teenage boys, believed to be brothers and both armed with wooden planks, confront a 24 year old man on a Killarney Vale Street on Sunday 20th December.
The victim, believed to be a relative of the boys, sustained a large gash on his forehead and a broken nose. It is unclear what started the altercation.
‘A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy have both been charged with assault and affray charges. They have reportedly been granted conditional bail and are due to appear before a children's court in January.
Couple charged after alleged discovery of firearms, ammunition and drugs.
A man and woman have been charged after police allegedly located a number of firearms, ammunition and drugs following the search of a vehicle and house on the Coast yesterday.
About 12.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 24 November 2015), police attached to Tuggerah Lakes Drug and Anti Theft Unit stopped a black Subaru on Wyong Road, Killarney Vale. During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located two loaded firearms. A man and a woman were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station.
Police subsequently executed a search warrant at a home on Anzac Road, Long Jetty, where they allegedly located a further firearm, a replica machine gun, ammunition, cannabis and a crystalline substance. The 48-year-old man and the 47-year-old woman were charged with possess unauthorised pistol and possess ammunition without holding a licence.
Both were refused bail and will appear in Wyong Local Court today (Wednesday 25 November 2015).
