Man charge with property, drugs and child abuse material

A man has been charged with property, drugs and child abuse material offences after being stopped at Gosford yesterday. 

A 35-year-old man was stopped by police in Gosford about 10.20am yesterday (Thursday 27 October 2016). 

A subsequent search of the man allegedly located amphetamine, credit cards and identity documents in his possession. 

Police will also allege child abuse material was located on a mobile phone belonging to the man. 

The man was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with possess and access child abuse material, receive stolen goods, steal by finding, possess prohibited drug and use false instrument to influence exercise of public duty. 

He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today (Friday 28 October 2016).
