Man charged after allegedly filming girl in shower

A man has been charged after he allegedly filmed a teenage girl in the shower in a unit at Daleys Point on Friday.

About 3.30pm  on Friday 23 September,  a 16-year-old girl was showering in a bathroom at a unit on Yugari Crescent, Daley’s Point, when she noticed a phone allegedly being used to film her, underneath the door. 

The girl reported the incident to police, and officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident. 

Following inquiries,  at about 10.45am this morning, police arrested a 35-year-old man at Allan Street, Niagara Park. 

He was taken to Gosford Police Station, where he was charged with observe person in private act without consent. 

The man was granted conditional bail and is to appear at Woy Woy Local Court on 11th October 2016. 

It is believed the man also resided in the premises; however, is not related to the teen.
