A man is facing court today after two other men were stabbed overnight at Watanobbi.
About 11.15pm (Tuesday 1 December 2015), police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics were called to an address in Dunrossil Avenue where the occupants had been woken by a male calling for help.
On arriving, emergency services found two men, aged 18 and 25, with stab wounds in the front yard. After being assessed by NSW Ambulance Paramedics on site, the 18-year-old man was transferred to Gosford Hospital. The 25-year-old continues to receive treatment at Wyong Hospital. Both are continuing to receive treatment.
A 23-year-old man was arrested in a nearby backyard just after midnight. The Watanobbi local was charged with reckless wounding and wield knife. He was refused bail and will appear in Wyong Local Court today (Wednesday 2 December 2015). It will be alleged the men were injured during an altercation and all parties were known to each other. Inquiries are continuing.
