Man charged following altercation in Wyoming

A man will appear in court next month following an alleged altercation and wounding of a man in Wyoming yesterday.

 About 11.30am (Monday 14 December 2015), a 30-year-old man visited a relative at a caravan park on the Pacific Highway, Wyoming.

 It will be alleged an altercation ensued between the man and a 47-year-old man who resides at the park.

 The older man was holding a knife and assaulted the 30-year-old, causing a cut to his hand.

 The armed man left the scene and the injured man was treated by Ambulance Paramedics, before being taken to Gosford Hospital.

 The 47-year-old man attended Gosford Police Station a short time later, where he was arrested and charged with reckless wounding.

 He has been granted conditional bail, to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 19 January 2015.
