A man has been charged following a fatal single-vehicle crash in Peats Ridge on Friday night.
About 11.25pm on Friday (13 May 2016), emergency services were called to Peats Ridge Road, near the intersection of Bushells Road, following reports of a crash.
It will be alleged, a Toyota Hilux Dual-cab was travelling north on Peats Ridge Road, when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a power pole.
Two passengers, a 63-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, died at the scene.
Two further passengers, a 28-year old woman and a 15-year-old boy, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver, a 24-year-old man, was also treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following inquiries, officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit arrested the 24-year-old driver today (Sunday 15 May 2016). He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
He was refused bailed to appear at Gosford Local Court tomorrow (Monday 16 May 2016).
