A man has died after swimming in water at The Entrance today, leaving the current drowning death toll at seven during the last week.
Just after 3pm (Tuesday 27 December 2016), emergency services were called to swimming baths on Ocean Parade, The Entrance, following reports a man was found unresponsive in the water.
The man was assisted by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
He has not yet been formally identified and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
