Man killed in single car crash near Wyong

Police are investigating a fatal crash at Alison, near Wyong, yesterday morning. 

About 9.30am yesterday (Sunday 17 July 2016), emergency services were called to Hue Hue Road, near the intersection of Alison Road, after a Hyundai sedan crashed into trees and onto a property. 

The driver and sole occupant, a 67-year-old Jilliby man, was treated at the scene before being transported to John Hunter Hospital.  Sadly, he died a short time later. 

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. 

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
