Man stabbed at Bateau Bay

Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed overnight at Bateau Bay 

About 12am (Wednesday 7 December 2016), a man and a woman were asleep in their home on Noelene Street, Bateau Bay, when they were awoken by a noise. 

Police have been told that a 31-year-old man was walking through his house; when he was confronted by another man. The victim was assaulted by the man before he was stabbed in the shoulder. 

The injured man attended Wyong Hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his shoulder and facial injuries. 

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command were contacted and commenced an investigation. 

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries. 

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 30-35 years-old solid build, 175-180cms tall with a shaved head. He was wearing a dark shirt and black tracksuit pants.
