Police investigate crash involving stolen vehicle in Wyong

A man is on the run after a crash at Wyong today involving a stolen vehicle.

 About 6am (Thursday 3 March 2016), a white Isuzu truck carrying an excavator, crashed on the corner of Johns Road and Pacific Highway at Wadalda.

 Police have been told the male driver fled the scene.

 Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

 The vehicle is believed to have been stolen between 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 2 March 2016) and 5.45am today (Thursday 3 March 2016), from a business on Lucca Road, Wyong.

 Anyone with information about the incident is urged to come forward.
