Two dead after Peats Ridge Crash

Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Peats Ridge last night. 

About 11.25pm (Friday 13 May 2016), emergency services were called to Peats Ridge Road, near the intersection of Bushells Road, following reports of a crash. 

Initial investigations suggest, a Toyota Hilux Dual-cab was travelling north on Peats Ridge Road, when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a power pole. 

Two passengers, believed to be a man in his 60s and a teenage boy, died at the scene. They are yet to be formally identified. 

Two further passengers, a teenage boy and a woman believed to be aged in her 20's, were treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver, a 24-year-old man, was also treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries. 

He will undergo mandatory blood and urine tests. 

A crime scene has been established and is being investigated by officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.
