Woman reported driving dangerously charged with high range PCA

A woman has been charged after returning an alleged alcohol reading of almost six times the legal limit at Killcare yesterday.

About 7pm (Sunday 6 March 2016), officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command attended Putty Beach Road, Killcare, following reports of a vehicle driving dangerously.

Police spoke to the female driver of a red Toyota Camry, before submitting her to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

The 38-year-old woman was taken to Woy Woy Police Station, where she allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.296.

She has been issued a Court Attendance Notice for high range PCA, to appear at Woy Woy Local Court on 5 April 2016.

The woman’s drivers licence was suspended immediately.
